Pure Denim vs Stretch Denim: What Is the Difference?

· ukazhar@gmail.com

Pure denim is a firm cotton twill fabric with no stretch fibres, while stretch denim blends in elastic fibres for extra give. Pure denim feels stiffer at first, then softens and moulds to your body with wear.

Pure denim: key features

  • Firm, structured feel that holds its shape
  • Durable, made for everyday wear
  • Softens and develops natural fades over time

Stretch denim: key features

  • Soft and flexible from the first wear
  • Easier movement, especially when sitting or bending
  • May lose some shape over time
